What is it?Verb Draughts is a game which is inspired by the classic game of Draughts and can be used by players with varying levels of English. There are 4 different draught boards to choose from.Language ObjectivesPlayers move the pieces on the board to try and eliminate their opponent. As they move across the board they practise using the verbs they find along the way.ContentsThe game includes 4 draught boards (for different categories of verbs), 30 black pieces and 30 white pieces, 6 cards with subject pronouns, 4 cards with sentence types and 10 cards with verb forms.• The instruction booklet contains instructions and suggestions on how to use the game in the classroom or at home with friends.• A video tutorial is available on line, on the ELI multi-media channel.
